Thanks for encouragement!

@Ms. Muffin - sometimes the pin closure does get on my nerves. I've been playing around with the idea of buttons or ties, similar to how a wrap dress is engineered. Have to play around with it some more.

@pinkfiktion - you can totally do this on a simple machine. My machine is definitely entry level, and the only issue I have is w/the decorative thread.

@oppurtunityknits - I made a second one, and it went even faster. The pattern drafting is what took so long the first time. The second one took me an hour, maybe. Super fast b/c there is basically no finishing needed on the garment.Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08667340904159246442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-540551283728813270.post-78253296980542465522010-11-12T21:23:16.085-05:002010-11-12T21:23:16.085-05:00It's so pretty. Anyway I´ll try. Maybe one could sew a wide fabric belt or something *thinking*
I have never been a fan of thin belts. ;-)
Will keep this post and think about it ...
Thanks for sharing this. (And I do love to wear PJs, too. :-) However they are often too cold.)Ms Muffinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16419580728085716299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-540551283728813270.post-59439991368118301452010-11-05T17:54:21.322-04:002010-11-05T17:54:21.322-04:00Your Billy looks great! You should totally make a little one- it goes even faster the second time around, plus it's littler. :) PS- I completely agree with the switching to pjs.Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03882596439110061970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-540551283728813270.post-78083905768268514772010-11-02T16:11:49.544-04:002010-11-02T16:11:49.544-04:00Fantastic job!! Isn't it funny how even sewing machines have personalities? I'm so pleased that you like it. I bought some more fabric in brown to make me another one ;) Thanks for sharing. No Big Dill https://www.blogger.com/profile/08414131508018685093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-540551283728813270.post-88273287964231411342010-11-02T15:24:59.500-04:002010-11-02T15:24:59.500-04:00Oh my gosh!!!
