Shortcut Chocolate Croissants

This is a favorite Sunday morning treat in our house.  They are ridiculously easy to make (and I'm sure incredibly unhealthy - but that's why they are a treat ;-) ) and if you add some fresh fruit and a hot cup of coffee, they make a great breakfast.

Ingredients: chocolate chips and crescent rolls (Our chocolate chips are stored in this big jar.  If you've read the How to Make Spiced Hot Chocolate post,  you know we eat a lot of chocolate chips in this house :) )


 

Preheat oven according to directions on package of crescent rolls.  Lay out the dough according to the directions on the package.  Before rolling each croissant, add a handful of chocolate chips.


 
 
Roll up and bake according to package directions.
Serve while hot.  Watch out for little hands grabbing before the plate is even on the table.

yummy!! I love chocolate croissants but never thought of doing them at home.
